Quadrafuzz requires cubase to run and as such won't run in FL is my understanding of it

For similar results, try using a multiband compressor and a fuzz distortion.

Use the multiband to control the levels reaching the fuzz.

Not ideal, I know, but this is s.i.m.i.l.a.r to the quadrafuzz signal path.

The difference is that each band gets fuzzed individually in QF, but hey, you'll get a unique sound this way

For what its worth, Quadrafuzz, along with A1 is one of the things that makes Cubase worth it as a package, both being really really underated (and they are both rated highly!)           .

I was thinking th same and it's actually true for the quadrafuzz version that comes with sx but the older quadrafuzz does work on FL.

Lale, are you are PC or Mac musician?

If you are a PC musician, I may be able to provide goodies of a quadrafuzz like nature.

No promises it does what you want though!

Both Izotop Trash and Ohm Force Predatohm are multiband distorsions. First can sound very much like Quadrafuzz and can make quite lot more than QF.           "It occurred to me by intuition, and music was the driving force behind that intuition. My discovery was the result of musical perception"

Predatohm has a fundamental problem in my eyes, in that it isn't properly stereo - it sums the input to mono.

Ozone is incredible, and I'd wholeheartedly and happily recommend that.

I've just finished a freeware multiband disto if anyone is interested.

The Warm Fuzzy has 11 different disto types across four bands (unlike QF, you can choose different models for each band). Ranging from 'Tapered' and 'Warmify' all the way up to 'Chernobyl' and 'Evil Edna'.

Brutal in the extreme! Enjoy           .

Nothing sounds like anything else. Otherwise there would be no else but there would be all the same

Point is that QF always sounds the same. Ozone can produce quite larger soundscape with pretty much same feeling. It's not a click away like with QF thou.           "It occurred to me by intuition, and music was the driving force behind that intuition. My discovery was the result of musical perception"
