Is there a way to sync without play pressed?

Hers's my problem. I have made an appreggio with my Nord Lead. The problem is that I can only play appregios from the keyboard when the play is pressed. If not it plays single notes. Is there a way to sync my synth to cubase without pressing play? |

Oh, and why isn't that possible? Technology has gone so far, but I still have to press play. Hasn't any of the geniouses at Steinberg figured that out? It's not quantum physics. And another thing. Why don't companies that create hardware synths create vsts that you can control your synth with, and most importantly save presets automatically inside the song? Simple things. |
