in my life i have to quite a lot of gatherings ,some of them where very special for me they where like ritual ,and some of them where just music going and nothing happenning .
so how can we make this thing be still pure all the time ,i think depends on many factors
1st.fullpower music all the time ,not ppl who just put music like jube box
2nd good ppl
3rd. very special venue
i leave the rest for u

If you don't know it yet and are interested in the 'ritual' point of view in trance party, you should have a look at it.
Beside, I was talking about that with my friends recently.
I like the idea of something more spiritual but... it seems that is far more easier (and already not that easy) to get autorisations to organise a gig (or at least, to call it a gig) and follow the according regulations than to call it ritual...
They already don't understand what's a Trance party really. But if you say it's a apparented to 'religious' thing, you will end up in the madhouse... |

man i live in portugal and nowadays there are every weekend a big trance party but honestly i dont go to a trance party for to long because it makes me sad its weird because it should be the oposite way.
the problem here is that most of the people in a trance partys here dont heven know what trance realy is and im gonna teel you one thing that appened here last weekend we have here a big party whit gms infected mushroom zorba etc...etc...and for what a friend teel me tiket was 20€and more 5€ to park the car but the most ridiculous is that inside there were private security can you beleive and they even punched in the face a boy in the dance floor
so this is the actual state of trance to forget |

tris <i have seen that article i knew about it thanks for your info
gandharva< baba in your country there is a lot every weekend parties ,i know what u mean ,it becomes same like every sat and indoors. in my counrty they did n t even started yet ,we dont even have a place or club ,we have to arrange it out side for us , and when we do it outside we arrgue with hunters ,cause they want to hunt and we want dance +lots of other shit

the ritual thing is what used to happen in GOA in the early 90s........
its died out there over the yrs and the place is becoming more and more commercial as psy is picking up in india........
people say less and less freaks visit goa each year
but to stick to the topic i wud say that
to have killer parties the main thing is the people around u!!!
if they truly love trance and understand what it stands for they can make a party with killer energy even if the music is not that great...
these days sadly most people not all who go to parties are just there for the dope or just becoz its a new thing which they want to try out..... they dont know the music that well and its just something to dance to and to get high to for them
these are the people responsible for killing the vibe at the parties........
i dont say no to newcomers but its just that they must be more receptive and soak in the psy culture
or the other way to have killer parties is to go

maybe the massive cocaine invasion could be a cause to the-no-longer ritual aspect of trance parties? this drug makes people individualistic and ego-ist, and in my opinion, for a ritual you need to have giving people who put their personal egos aside... |

I agree about coke 100%.
But the whole peace love and unity was just an illusion caused by chemicals. A different drug with a different outcome but nevertheless a designer drug that made the party a out of the world illusion (we love everybody) and the day to day life grey and for some a nightmare of depression.
"The ritual" was in most cases just an illusion. A bubble that had to burst sometime

What i understand of the trance ritual is that it is multinational and this mixture plus the music and the nature makes it special. The more difficult it si to get to a Trance Party the better the party cause the bigger the reward. We are all living for this oneness with the music, nature and God and no matter time passes the ritual can never be lost...Ohm nama shiva...
