Well yeah it exists in pretty much every aspect of life. Kids today aren't as good as kids were when I was a kid, etc.
However, I do think a lot can be attributed to the regions in which people live. Some places really have gone down hill a lot, other places haven't. This is the 13th year for Gemini and that party still rocks. Plenty of other elder trancers I know in the US seem to have very positive attitudes towards music and the scene. Not to say that opposite minded people don't exist in those regions...
