It does if you say it with a British Public School™ (Preferably Etonian) accent.           www.youtube.com/trancevisuals

Or if you are from Boston. Then "arses" and "asses" will sound the same anyway.
Are those the same accents?

real life discussing is the best.. facebook is.. phasebook..
very anti-social (social to me is.. real life social.. ) but it's very fun and 'social' at the same time... weird...

Anywhoo.. forums are totally something else then facebook..
way better.. Isratrance is it's own thing which i regualrly check and enjoy the converations on.. but some people on it man.. damn..

" I ain't no psyhippie anymo.. but i want to complain about the time when i was one.. and i want to critisize the shit that i ain't following anymore.. "

I'm assuming and hoping that most of the REAL psyhappenings.. discussions.. breakthroughs and exiting stuff happens outside of forums, internet and above all facebook...

real life dude.. thats the shit..

Dislikeing stuff in facebook would make it weird and to real.. which is social. .. thusly facebook is not.. it's a happy friends and family connection bay.. blabla...
( i refuse adding artists on facebook.. simply cause i wanna use it for real people only.. )

isratrance rocks.

Maybe if owners reset the forum deleting all existing topics it will have a lot of activity to go           "The dedication to repetition — the search for nirvana in a single held tone or an endlessly cycling rhythm — is one of electronic music's noblest gestures."

not everything has been said and discussed yet..

for example there is still a lot of stuff to discuss about science. and about the alchemy of sound . also i would like to see more environmental topics about ecology and self sustained living for dummies . most people open only the trance section, the production section and the releases....but there is much more to discuss here. as it is already a big community ( well smaller than facebook but somehow more dense), so people are there, even if they open rarely.

also, another thing, which is something that i consider very important and i come every 4-5 months for some time on isratrance with the hope that i would read more about it #:
topics about communities and ecological villages all around the world. alternative villages of people , micronations and self sustained living outside of states and boundaries. and if there arent any, we should be fast and build as many as possible. i believe isratrance has to play an important role about it. internet is important because it connects you to people you would not meet otherwise.

another opportunity would be to start a section where everyone could post trance related news ( not new releases or events, but just news). this could be for example, in my area there is a new exhibition of black lights , or, something like that....

many things can be done. connecting people.

While i agree that it will generate a lot of activity what about information regarding old releases, members views and perspective regarding music etc and other data. having a back up would help but whats the point if people cannot access it. you have to keep in mind lots of people who come here don't post, aren't registered members and even if they do register they might be looking for some information before moving on somewhere else. Its not just about the people who post.

Sure in the general trance forum alot of topics have been beaten to pulp, every now and then somebody comes up with something fresh to discuss....
In some other sections there is alot more to discuss - its almost June and I havnt seen discussion/review of many great albums that have been released this year for instance....
so its not like we dont have anything to talk about.

Moreover, some epic discussions of the past are still slumbering....

"Dont call Psy dark" is waiting to begging for resurection, and who knows, maybe even Psynina will emerge from her metaphorical grave soon

wow, isra had some epic moments for sure.. i remember Meteloids anouncing that they were working on 'Tits on fire' ... that totally had this cult vibe for some of us !

"Oh man ! they're in their synth-cave working on meteloid music as we speak !" .. that kinda thing..

I just wish more interested people would join isra, no offence intended... just want to see even more true enthusiasts..

* Raising my hand *

and listening to The Great Unknown, cos I just recommended it to a non-psy music lover who I don't think knows what this music is, and finds some house psychedelic. This is different

I'm definitely interested in good music always. I'm a lover of it, straight out!

I think the activity on this forum has gone down enough that they could reduce the number of subforums... too many subforums!
