is Reason good for psytrance

Hey Chilean duded living in NY . I am using Reason 2.5 and Digital performer. Does anybody think that this is a good software for psytrance music?

that depends on what you can do with reason but even so reason isnt as good as cubase when it comes to sound quality and the options it gives you.
alot of old reason users switch to cubase by using reason as a vst device in cubase. that way you can still use the synths and machines you like but with a better audio engine. |

Yes , this is what Katam meens ,
U open reason up in cubase via Rewire ..
The process of this , is almost similar to opening a Vsti .. So in theory u open Reason as A vsti In cubase ..
So the jump from using reason , wont be that big .
But i would say , its not the program .. is the man or woman behind ,
So if u have ideas .. use fruity , use reason , use logic , cubase .. or what ever u can get a hold on ..
just my 2 cents

well , i know infected mushroom used reason to create Dancing With Kadafi , so it depends on what your actulay want to achieve coz "psytrance" is Very generly speaking.... and of course your knoweldge.

There was a guy who made a remake of this tune with Reason. Yakir Ben Tovim aka Side Effect, if i'm not mistaken.

Suberb job he did 
Prodigy also use Reason. but is not psytrance..
i also used Reason long time ago and now there is the second version wich is even better so i think it only depends the way you use it

Prodigy (or Liam Howlett to be precise) uses Reason only as a preliminary sequencer though...
I read an interview with him recently and he starts of by using reason on his laptop to create the basic sounds and ideas and then moves the layers into a proper studio running protools, he then tweaks and replaces the sounds.
still, reason is an incredible program and i know (because of a really obvious sample from the included refill) that Xerox&Illumination use it, probably rewired though because of the crispness of the sound.
