Recently I watched a bollywood movie flick with hardcore pumpy bass riffs, more like skazi's hard Stompy bass. I was wondering where and how fast is the music production coming at? what BPM are they keen on tapping to please our young Folks?
Is the future of all movie flick soundtracks, PSYTRANCE?

yea.... even i have noticed the electronic elements in bollywood music these days....
i heard Navras - Juno Reactor featuring as a the soundtrack of this upcoming movie...

Sorry to post negatively, but this is a problem imo. People think of psy (or fast vocal-less music) as just this background kind of music when the hero is involved in a car chase with the villain. I doubt they'd actually start considering it to be music to dance to. Otherwise Indians just don't get vocal-less music in my experience. |

remixes done by void zmachine and mastering by domestic!!
i did the manaata lovers paradise mix (the only track on the cd without vocals!!)
i think trance or at least intelligent EDM is going to work hand in hand with younger directors in bollywood

hahaha... u said it bro... seriously the edm quotient in bolly fliks is on the rise but then its mostly as fillers i mean u honestly picture a hero n heroine bajaeing ata rave only to be accosted by the villain dad whu dsnt want his daughter to turn in2 a hippie??.. the younger crew of sound techs should be commended for trying to introduce this sound in2 the mainstream but then from experience i can say the greater indian masses are just not ready to accept or just plain are ready for trance yet... house downtemp n a lil proggy mebbe but hardcore underground psy?? no way in hell unless mz gandhi decides that every1 shld start smokin up

yea Navras was featured in Matrix.... but i this is for a bollywood movie..... not released yet i think, multi star cast.... i saw a promo something on TV..... didnt notice the name though, just went nuts listening to the track....
