hello everybody ,

i hope everybody is doing kool enuff ..

ok guys , here is what i need to ask ..

i have started using reason as my main composing tool .

but now i find tht it is not easy enuff to compose music in reason using the pencil tool in the piano roll as compared to fl studio which i was using earlier ..

now wat i wanna know is , do all of u guys using reason here face the same problem as me ???

do u ppl use midi keyboard to record the notes in reason , as it becomes much easier ..

or do u ppl also write music in reason using the pencil tool ??

how is the best way to do it ??

pls hlp me out wid this ...

bye 4 now and take care ..           http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTPJuMSwzUQ

some ppl actually love the reason matrix editor...don't ask me why....

my advice?go for cubase or logic audio, its a much better solution to use as a main composing tool, so in my opinion you would spend your time much more wisely by learning cubase or logic than reason.

and then if u want u can even use reason in rewire mode

use reason as soundengine and use cubase as sequencer. it's much more confortable, for the first step.

FOR SURE: get a midi keyboard
get one with control knobs or an additional knobbank

I could never compose with a software at all. I do all composing wth my keyboard and my MPC4000.. no software.

But everybody has hes way of working.           Most of my music for you to download at:

I agree with fluosamsara: is better using reason as a rewire to cubase. BUT, if you donīt have money enough donīt worry. You are new at this, arenīt you? At the moment it is ok. It isnīt difficult to work with. Of course is better having a controller keyboard, specially for creative works, but if you donīt have nothing matters. Donīt worry, work, feel free to make your music and do your best!! It is possible with this program. It is easy, man!!!
Good luck!!
