use your own stuff dude!
finishing a track with the fealing that somebody else actualy made parts of the music, and its not all realy yours, has
a bitter lack of satisfaction fealing....
unless you take ready audio parts and change them completely in variouse interesting ways,
then its something else...

i had quite the same opinion like orik for a long time, but recently I've changed my thoughts about it.
in fact the only thing that counts is the result. if the track is cool, I don't think, that there are a lot of people on the floor, who will stop to dance and say, iiihhhh, this is a perc-loop from this or this sample-cd.
imo such loops can be a very big inspiration and help you to test in a fast way, how the track would sound, if you add certain ideas.
but anyway, everyone should follow his own feeling about this topic.
i want to close with some words of the ableton hp:
"A Loop is what you make of it"
this is very true

using sampels? of course you can...
loops its more debutfull issue and i'm sure some will tell you that you can use it and some will disagree.
i myself dont use loop coz i dont like it.

I agree with all above ,and I buy sample CDs and I use them.

ex:
(1)Brutal Beats AUD/WAV

(2)Breakz From the Nu Skool by BT <===This is really good!!!

(3)so many.....etc

Coz I don't have good enough mic, mic-pre, recording room and the most important, the drums!

If you wanna make the drum loop sounds really good, you must spend a lot of time.
And even you don't know finally if the loop is what you really want.

So the reason I use them..
(1) They are cheap for me ,camparing with the cost in the studio and all the equipments.

(2) The sound quality is really good.

(3) It is convenient to test the loop if it is suitable and if not , well......it is easy to change it.

I always cut the loops and change the rythm into my way.
Sometimes, combine diffrent loops together.
Loop is a tool...
