i don't have a studio. my small rooom is my studio where i have kept my equipments and i don't have A/C too. so for ventilation i have to keep my windows open so because of that my equipments get really dusty. specially my monitors and sound card.
Dust enters in them till inside.i can't clean them properly with anything.....
so can i use a small 800 watts vaccum cleaner to clean these things ?
imp* - will a vaccum cleaner do any damage to my monitors.?(Alesis M1 Active Mk2)

thanx !            Truth will always guard our souls......

thanx for the replies ppl
@ Zoopy : air filter also won't help man they will get dusty for even if i put filters.the place where i live is very polluted.
thnx for the suggestion though

@ Faxi Nadu : ok

@Alex , Axonix : towels and dusters won't help brothers coz i won't be able to clean the dust stuck between my midi controller's keys plus dust stuck in the ports of my sound card. plus can't clean monitors till inside also.

well, for dust that sticks to surface, microfiber dusters is very good. vacuum cleaners can have a hard time getting everything removed. Consider trying one at least, its not so expensive, and its very good. For me i can access much more corners, and other difficult areas, than with a vacuum cleaner           myspace.com/auralinvasion
