so I just came back from a festival in brazil called solaris.. I was amazed with some tracks played by people such as Tim Healey (electric tease), tobias, Emok and carbon 23
I would really appreciate if you guys could help me finding out what are the names of these tracks/artists/cds.. (I guess some are in vynil, but still... )
the samples I remember:
track 1 - "Higher... faster" or something like that (some remix of a Daft Punk track I think)
track 2 - "All I really want is you... you be my party toy" (and some other stuff like that.. female voice I think)
track 3 - "This is house music..... I´ve played music for a long time, and I´ve come to the conclusion that house music gets the people moving" ( or something like that.. this track has a saxophone and guitar too)
track 4 - " mother f*cker mother f*cker* (repeating a lot, and with a few effects, and the pitch rises up and down)
there are a couple of others but I dont remember right now.. I will post later... thanks a lot guys |

ok so, track 1 is a remix of ´"Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" from daft punk.. but I dont know from who.. if anybody can help
there was another (house) remixed track I also want to find out, from this 80´s rock band (I think) where the chorus goes something like
"rock the kashbar, rock the kashbar"

I think its the ´klein and juergens remix´
what a bomb, this track!!!!
too bad its on vynil...

ok one more track I really want (also played by tim healey/electric tease)..
its this powerful track, house I think.. then there is a break in the track, where suddenly some reggae music starts, and this vocal saying something like ´im gonna take you to outer space now´ ...

still track 1, 3 and the ´rock the kashbar´ to find out...

"Drop the pressure" was probably the only House track of 2004 that was news-worthy ... killer sound... someone1 should seriously psy it out. would make an amazing dark track. |

actually, its "The Clash- Rock the Casbah" in the original.
Try typing that in google, maybe you'll find out something. I found this (check the ambasadors of disco paragraph):
