Since the end of 2006 everybody is talking about stuff like: Full on is dead or progressive is dead etc.
But we are almost in 2010 and if you look on the line up's of the biggest parties and festivals all around the world, maybe more than 90 % of them are Full On or progressive acts. Very few line up's have 2-3 dark psy artists and this only for the "hardcore fans" to feel happy. Let's be serious, nobody fills the dance floors bringing dark artists only. Or maybe let's take a look on psyshop or saikosounds on the top of the sales and see how many other releases we have except progressive and full on.
I personally see 3 different kinds of full on now: the israely commercial one full of voices and shit melodies, the morning or melodic one which is still very good quallity (acts like: U-Recken, Digicult, Atma, Mr. Peculiar, Chromosome...) and the night or twilight full on coming mostly from South Africa but also from Portugal, Uk, Israel and other places.
On the progressive scene we have the minimal stuff and the the deep melodic progressive coming from Germany mostly..,and yeah, let's not forget the small tech-trance scene we still have today.
So please, let's stop acting like children and take out our heads from the sand too see the reality.
We may like it or not, the Full on and progressive are far from being dead, they are just transforming, but alive and kicking.
