Dunno but I'm making a bit of a come back to chill out circus. I used to listen to ambient and ambient only and then I started liking some faster stuff as well and now I'm really starting to enjoy the chilled side of things again. Remembered why I got so into it in the first place. It's to me like 100 times more psychedelic than any fast stuff. Now what is this thread supposed to be about again? Is it okay to say in this thread that our beloved chill out is starting to get the same flood effect full on got some years ago. Seems to me like one must go thru awful lot of shit to find a good chill album these days. May I politely ask labels to stop releasing bad chill? Oh and Israel gets a special mention, some seriously good (and different) chill coming from there these days           "The dinosaurs became extinct because they didn't have a space program."

Most psy chill out projects of today are booooooooaring, there seems to be very little inovation...it doesnt mean to say that theres no good chill out there ...it infact makes it more of a challenge to hunt down....Funny a few years ago i found myself so enthusiastic about the psy chill movement...however recently i have lost almost all interest...cycles.........whatever happened to Humph?

I've always found it a case of going through a lot of music to find one or two inspiring tunes... nothing's changed...

in regards psy chill... well that is more specific than saying chillout. often music that overtly sets out to be psy ends up being conventional [in a psy kind of way]

the simple answer is that if you're bored, don't listen to it...do something else, and if you're a music maker then you have the chance to add to the positive/innovative side with some of your own creations.

this thread lacks balance... too much general and passive complaining ... few words about what inspires you... so no contrast and little meaning

probably best for someone representing lsd/dragonfly to comment on their business... humph is a great guy and a quality A&R.
