well i dont see any whr in that link arabesque declaring it neither any one has even mentioned that they have heard that from arabesque...looks like a rumour to me 
currently we are dealing with arabesque for our release alongside our own distribution from our website...but with arabesque and us its going good..they have not mentioned anything negative so far...very prompt and very nice ppl
P.S- i still prefer cd's

I feel that cds have their own charm. Think of how it feels to hold a vinyl in your hands today. Then think 20 years in the future.. I would feel the same way about cds

...or any other media that stores 1s and 0s, packaged all nicely and stuff?

Cd or dvd or any media holder, that has a nice artwork and boxing will look better then downloaded media files, this is why art exist, as i label and art person, i make art for people who love art, to make the enviroment to look better.
Yeah artwork exist in digital form, but you can't really see and feel the artwork on monitor, the same way you look at a cd box, or a poster or something else...
The cd's i buy, are completing the look of my room where i live in, they inspire me.
Digital downloads are for instant people, people that are ignorant to the art.
When you make a compilation, it's not just slap the first 10 tracks you will receive, i put much effort in to building a story with those tracks, it's diffrent when you listen all tracks separately, and when you listen one after another, just like in a dj set, you need to know which tracks you need to put, in what order etc... Same for the artwork, it complete the story of the compilation.
I admire labels that do this approach, or any other approach that push the level of the art in a high level, and this is the work of the label, is not just a machine that uploads few tracks on a download store.
But also i know a lot of dj's are in to searching for fresh music to play in their dj sets, and i respect this, because this is their job and art, so to satisfy the both needs for fresh music and to show the whole work on the cds i release, i always put free instant WAV download to the people who buy the cd directly from the label website, so they can listen and play the tracks instantly and enjoy the cd artwork later when it arrives.

Disagree, there are people who DJ the tracks they download, that is an artform it self, as you say later when you contradicted your self
