Why being angry?
DJ's should understand people like this.
especially in Israel, there are many of people like this, only because people are somewhat more self centeral here and think they know the best...
instead of getting angry try to get to the psychological mind of the track asker - why man do i get money for djing? and why did you pay for this party? for me to dj stuff you already know?
or just put a sign saying; "I Only know my own tracks."
in my opinion bringing some distance between the dj and the dancers is wrong, a dj work is to play with the people's psychology. he tells them when to rest, when to dance, when to shout and when to faint.
hope i helped           this is insane cause it's like a beat of Ouuuuto Ouuuuto Ouuuuuto and all these fucking complex patterns are moving around and this guy is looking me in the eye and im fucking freaking out and it last for about 5 minutes...

I had these kind of incidents a few times myself in this kinda situation you must explain your point or try to make him go... politely or not... it depends on your shimon communication skills or you can just nodd your head like "OK OK man... go dance" this one worked well in the old times...

I was at a party last friday where some unfriendly guy went to the DJ and actually turned down the volume on the mixer... I got really pissed off and actually went to argue with him and in the end I did prove my point to him .

Once it even happened to me with a bunch of angry arabs who found my music a bit too much for them lucky for me Yossi the famous violent security guy was near me all the time but they still broke into my car

Too much security can ruin the vibe a bit... but in a bad situation you better have some than not because a DJ versus a broken bottle or a knife or a bunch of angry fuck'os is a very unfair game

Boom!!!

that dj in the first link is south africa producer.

probably didnt understand what was being said....

it was a great set........

faces arent always bad but they arent always good too aswell.

i agree with dark killer about the blonde in a skirt...

point well made...

that would put a smile on d.j face and the whole front row....

Just smile at them and nod.

Don't give them energy of any sort (Nice or mean) and they will eventually just go away. Or tell them you promise to play it last.

I myself really hate to see a lot of security in a party. It ruinz the whole vibe.
Ofcourse we are farrrrrr from a perfect situation and there are many reasons security must be apparent and active in our parties, but i just wish it could be one big organised chaos...

Like, i hate to see fences. I hate to see the DJ on a stage like hes some kind of a superstar. I hate to see big security guys looking all serious patroling around or standing near the equipment... All this stuff ruins the vibe.

Sure id rather have that than stabbing, but still... I hope there could be a better solution, like make the party directions be known only to guys you know and trust, or better yet, have people act like human beings and not like fuckheadz.

I think a lot of this scene depands on trust, and that makes it alot of what it is, the unity vibe in a good party is just mind blowing. When you dont have trust, when you have to fence the place to stop the "mitfalhim", when you have to hire big guys to look tough and protect the equipment and search your car for weaponz etc, you lose alot of the spirit... It becomes just a regular party. Nothing more...          Dressed to kill you look so right... I am drunk with lust tonite.

shimon or ars, lol just don't invite shimons to party or don't play dark, they all like dark or eating acid's, I'm 90% sure this stuff won't happen much on europe since the 'shimons' there are more polite, and blame also the arabs, the arsim learned everything from them, from kissing each other for hello untill breaking into cars and kissing girls in the trance stage.
goodluck guys!

surely they're not all bad but this saturday it happened to me with a guy at the university party (in Athens) and i was deconcentrated many times LOL, he was keeping coming and telling me bullshits/or the same thing (asked me 8 times for my name... answering Dimitri, he kept calling me Vassilis, hehe )!!!
but other times happened with nice ppl...
so, finally, i guess its just a matter of luck

U think this is bad??? well, try this one:
along time ago, i was played at some not-so-good nature party that was needed to closed because lack of crowd. anyway, the decision to close the party received during my set. up to my ending all the security has go home, i'm talking about a crowd of approximately 5 ppl at that moment. when i shut the music off, like the production told me, some fuckin "Shimon" come to me and say 2me to put the music on again!
when i tried to explain him the situation he suddenly start to running wild, yell and shout about that his "DLEKA" is just started and he must have music on is ears... and he has'nt let me go to leave the stage.
it was like talking with a fucking shoe for a 20 minute, this guy just has'nt have any comprehension at all.
anyway, i think that if his friend has'nt take him from me i was probably got stab or somthing.

i hate to see things like that in our scene!
but what i can do, this is the ppl of israhell...
that's why now i choose my parties much more wisely:
only 3rd empire's parties and friends-(that i know as well)-parties!!!
