Sorry to hear about the ipod, but that thread title cracked me up, thanks!
Since it's already fucked, maybe try cleaning the soap residue out with a water spray bottle thingy or something (sorry if i'm getting too technical) and then take it in for a warranty attempt after you've made sure to dry it as well as possible so there will be no tell-tale signs of rust. |
