The popular Mandala Music app for the iPhone has been redesigned for the iPad. Mandala Music HD provides a new way of expressing yourself musically. Instead of playing a conventional instrument, Mandala Music HD maps the notes of musical scales to pads on the iPad. Music is pattern and pattern is music. The notes you play emanate like ripples on water. Create multi-track recordings that can be saved and emailed to yourself or friends. Compose a pattern and change the modality from a western major scale to an Egyptian, Arabic, or other scale (33 scales from around the world are provided). Change the tempo, the sound (pitch, harmonics, dynamics), the meter, and even the rhythm.

Control your DAW and hardware synths wirelessly via OSC with Pianist Pro. Use Pure Data (a free application for both OSX and Windows) on your PC to receive the OSC calls and translate them into MIDI messages to suit your setup.

iPad running custom MIDI controller for Serato Scratch Live 2.0
This is a really simple demo of ScratchUp on the iPad controlling Serato Scratch Live 2.0 to build up breakdowns using SP-6 Sampler, DJ Effects and the Multibutton to send multiple MIDI messages.
This is not a TouchOSC layout, this is all custom!

+1 for TouchOSC. Turning your iThing into a wireless multitouch controller = Yum!
As for gigging, you could always bring your own wireless router, no? Doesn't matter if it's connected to the internet or not- probably just as well if it's not.

Jasuto Pro 1.2.2 has been submitted to Apple!
-Zoomable/slidable Scale module, basically lets you define scales and play them with a keyboard.
-The sequencer supports odd loop lengths, independent rates (up to 64x the tempo!), and trigger resets now.
-Transposing of sequencers now scale properly.
-Fixed the .wav case sensitivity issue.
-Fourier transform modules (FFT, iFFT, Band, Bands) for some spectral fun! Check out the new Spectral category which contains a Vocoder example!
-Recording/Resampling now only listens to the selected Speaker modules, if nothing is selected then it records everything (just like the current default behavior).
-Fixed a browser tabbing issue that would popup after saving a scene.
-Much better sounding Noise module.
-Sonoma AudioCopy/Paste 1.1.
-Sequences/Motion now start on the initial note on loading.
-Fixed a bunch of number editor bugs, and yes, you can now enter 0!
-You can now disable motion smoothing on nodes when dragging them around in the scene. The option can be found in the Motion menu under Smooth.
-Replaced the screensaver with something a little less arbitrary, a spectrogram!
