So I'm using a couple of apps in my live set. My favourites so far are:
Bebot (AWESOME)
iSynth
Beat Maker
iShred
Noise.Io
But I'm always looking for more! Any suggestions? I'm looking more for either a kaosillator type app (like Bebot but with more control over the sound) or an MPC style sampler that'll let me (somehow) upload my own sounds.
Any ideas? I already know of Thumbjam, Megasynth, Xewton Music Studio and Rebirth.
I already know of
A.Rosengren
Solid Snake

Is there any jailbreaking involved? I have a iPod touch but don't really have any cool stuff on it. Would be nice to use it in the live (:

Yeh, Jailbreak involved if you can't get them through the normal routes, although jaibreaking is easier than ever now with Spirit. (Takes about 30 seconds.)

What I'm really looking for is more of a noise maker. I'm not going to lie, the ipod screen is too small for a synth like Argon to be of use to me. No way I could play a lead off of that. I'd really like something like a Kaosillator, that uses XY tilting and panning and touch-gestures to create trippy sounds. BeBot is so simple yet I use it far more than any of the others.

I've been fiddling around with Beatmaker, now that I know how to load my own samples onto it, its pretty damn mind blowing. The range of stuff I can do with it is awesome.
Also using DopplerPad which has a cool Kaos Pad vibe to it.

novations also made automap for the iphone/pod
but midi control over wifi isnt the best.....wish they'd utilize bluetooth.....the bluetooth functionality seems pretty useless atm on the ipod

Except WiFi sometimes isn't an option when gigging.
