I think the best way is to take them to a good party with a nice line up and put some acid or etc in their drinks.

Direct to the point and they're gona like all the tracks

when I was bothered with introducing people the best way was to shout them to a small gig.

This is what worked on me. I was a massive metalhead, I occasionally listened to some GMS, Dark Soho and Infected Mushroom but definately not an avid psy listener. Then one of my mates took me to a gig and I haven't looked back.

I agree with the easing in with some cheesy morning psy. The same goes with death metal, most kids start off listening to shitty nu-metal/metalcore and once they've gotten used to the blastbeats and growling vox they step up to the proper stuff and end up loathing the crap metal they started with            http://soundcloud.com/meat-battery/

I usually start slow with some mainstream Progressive.
If that clicks, I usually play some crazier Psychedelic stuff.

pretty easy to start someone on Twisted stuff - I've yet to find an intelligent person that can't appreciate (at least some) shpongle, and if they're interested you can ramp up from there.

always astral projection. indeed, never changed this tactic for 15 years now.
if they are more advanced ( and had a few astral sessions already) they get to hear hallucinogen:). after that shpongle to rethink what i was telling to them about trance.
in the last two years i always introduce the cosmic octave first , if i have guests who come from a scientist background.

but astral projection never changed. it always comes first if it comes to introducing trance to newbies. 15 years now.
