Q What music you listen - whether only to music of your format?

Hehe... I Listen russian pop-music, Bach, Mozart, Beethoven and others a underground actors … And if it is serious … I Listen to that I make itself. Then so you will be done, that anything except for Bach on an ear it is not put. Instead of …

Q And what musicians all the same inspire?

Inspire basically other things. Girls and diffirent beauty. Simply I love music and I understand it. And fakes I can listen in tons - at me protective reaction.

Q Probably, there are any extraordinary interests? The hobby unusual can?

On a head to stand, still legs through a head to shower. There is a truth interest … Love, when praise. I like to be favourite. Though, certainly everyone love this, but I in exchange give the boundless mirror-reflected love.

Q And what most important event has happened in your life?

Hm … Has gone through 2 clinical death. In general - super expirience.

Q To what vital philosophy you adhere?

Not clear question. My vital philosophy here will not hold.

Q And how so it has turned out what to create music of the beginnings?

Music to write the beginnings because has early started to smoke.

Q How it?

Well first time has tried in 13 years. Usually speak - first time does not insert - say lies all.

Q And how it is connected with music?

And so, at that time I programmed, and smoked … the Beginnings dummed, time in vain to spend. Programming, it demands megaconcentration, has understood, that a music to do much more cheerfully, cash does not litter, in sense figure in a head has bothered to scroll. Though certainly, music it too loves diligences and persistences.

Q How old are you?

And it looking from what side to look

Q Where do you live?

I live temporarily on a planet the Earth.

Q Whence you?

Whence … Too difficult to answer.

Q And what favourite place on this planet?

I it entirely adore - it easier charm

Q The favourite cinema is?

I do not love cinema. Boringly. I can estimate it only as someone's creativity, well that is a sound special effects, game of actors. And in general to force to experience me that is enclosed in the script very difficultly as owing to multifunction my reason, a stream of the information which I receive from film much more slowly and not interestly, than that at this time occurs{happens} at me in a head, for the same reason the book I do not like to read, on one some days leave, and the concentrate of the information is necessary to me. I even drink tea with 5þ spoons of sugar.
Though here-Ìàòðèöà-has liked. Professionals, so to say. Sense any, but effects how many …-Ìàòðèöó-time 5 probably, the truth not from the beginning and not up to the end looked, but the general picture has developed
I here love animated cartoons - Simpsons, Futurama.

Q -C-P-C-… as there was a name of the project?

Has arisen as it is necessary.

Q To whom?

All.

Q And you cooperate with what labels?

Give we shall not be about it? It not should be asked me. If my medals interest - that they are at me in quantity.

Q And how the style you will describe?

I in different styles work - so it critics let describe, I shall write a music is better.

Q Tell about studio? The equipment, a software.

The most important at me in a head. I can and without the equipment, on lips, for example.

Q It is a lot of time there you spend?

All time, sometimes deduce to take a walk But something is rare.

Q And how many on time a track you write?

I do not wish to answer … My creativity just to those and differs, that I not write tracks, I of the robot collect, which music will play, on motives of my fairy tales.

Q You aspire to spaces of robotization?

I by the way itself would not refuse from any cyber-upgrade. For example, connection with the Internet without a computer - it is direct in a brain.

Q What do you search, maybe, for any ideas?

I about ideas have not understood something.

Q Well here is how you have a process of a writing of a music?

You get on mountain. Also you shout in all throat. An echo melodies reach. You take a stick and on sand you draw melodies. You take a stick and on sand you draw partitas. Then you scan sight. Also you compile in the uniform block of data. Archive also you put on storage in memory. (it is one of ways) For those who does not have mountains - it is possible to descend{go} in a wood. In general the technology is simple - the more emotional experiences I experience, the better and more qualitatively the product turns out. And when month you sit at studio, the techno turns out. Though a techno too abruptly. By the way I plan to make in 2005 the project with comrade Sulima, he Manifold also.

Q You probably travel much? Whether Is such about what you can tell here?

Once has climbed on mountain. Has darkened. Could not go down (I not one was). Then, I remember, there was a night of unreal beauty. Something then shouted in space. And the right hand, not a hand, and a brush has then given up, and the whole week did not work, while again has not climbed on mountain, and then all has passed. And now I understand, how abruptly, that both hands work for me, and still I have ears and eyes. And still I to sing I am able and on the machine sewing to embroider - with a dagger. The rhyme has recollected ridiculous
To me in the childhood mum has pricked out eyes
That I from a case have not rested jam
Now I do not go to cinema and I do not read a fairy tale
But I smell and I hear well
Abruptly? …

Q Something similar about performance you can tell?

Perhaps it. KPR-6 which took place in (2004) year in Moscow. It is A lot of to people. Unfortunately, the stage has been constructed in such a manner that people from djêè it was visible not. Contact to weight it has not turned out.

Q What most successful sample managed to be used?

Ìììàààààìààààà ÌÀÀÀÀÌÌìààààà …

Q And why this?

I like to observe of reactions to a dancing. During a track with this sample of reaction very unusual.

Q Samples in general whence you take?

Itself I create. Now I densely cooperate with studio DeJavu, I do for them libraries of sounds - at me wide experience. Never libraries I copy nobody. However cheerfully there are 2-3 years after creation of any sample to hear it in track any other artist.

Q Often you play live?

No. Live - business very difficult. It is heavy to one me to make it. Here if even 2 more hands at me were - then it would be possible. Though and now it is possible certainly … played some times - 1 time in Berlin and few times in Moscow. But business thankless it. For the majority of people on a dancing all the same not clearly it; where live and where the disk with a mix plays. Though I promise in 2005 to make high-grade live the program on unlimited quantity of time.

hey, if anyone here ever needs a professional translation from Russian into English or vice versa, feel free to get in touch with me. I have a degree in translation and creative writing (in English, obviously) from one of the best American universities - and since I grew up in Russia, I am perfectly fluent in both languages.

good version .

Q - What kind of music do you listen to?

A Hehe.. I listen to Reflex, Laima Vaikule, Alla Pugachjova, Kristina Orbakaite,
Sofia Rotaru¢... and Linda. Also Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, and other underground
artists. If to answer seriously... I listen to the sound I make myself. At some point I get so loaded- I make so much, that nothing except Bach, goes well for the ear.

Q - Which musicians have inspired you?

A - Mainly other things bring inspiration. Girls and all kinds of beauties of life.. I just like music and understand it well. And I can listen to fake alot. I have a
defensive reaction.

Q - What are your main interests in life? (any strange hobbies except music)

A - To stand on my head, also to throw legs above head.
Actually there is an interest: I like to be praised. I like to be loved. Of course, everybody likes it, but in exchange I give boundless mirror-reflected love.

Q - Whats the most important thing that was ever happened to you?

A - Hm...I have survived 2 clinical deaths. That is a super experience.

Q - Tell us a bit about your philosophy in life!

A - This question is not clear. My philosophy in life won't fit into here.

Q - How did you become involved into music creation?

A I started to write music, because I started to smoke early.
Q How was it?
A I was 13 when I tried it for the first time. Usually people say that first time doesn't work they lie!!!
Q And how is it connected to music making?
A So, back at that time I was programming, and smoking. Started to daze instead of working, and spending time to no purpose. Programming demands mega concentration. I understood that it is much more fun to make music, cache is not getting trashed. I mean I got bored of scrolling digits in my head. But of course, music also likes hard
work and persistence.

Q - How old are you?
A - This depends on which side you take to look at it.

Q - Where do you live?
A - Temporarily I live on planet Earth.

Q - Where are you from?
A - Where from... Also quite difficult to answer

Q - What's your favourite place on earth? Why?

A - I love all of her! she is just so lovely.

Q - Favourite movie?

A - I don't like movies. Boring. I can analyse it as somebody's creation, I mean sound, special effects, actors play. But it is difficult to make me experience ideas of the play, because of my mind it's multitasking. The flow of information which I receive
from the movie, is much more slow and less interesting than what is happening in my head at the same time. For the same reason I don't like to read books, it takes many days for me to read one book, and I need a concentrate of information. Even tea I drink with 5 spoons of sugar. Although I liked Matrix. Professionals. No meaning, but so
many effects. I have seen Matrix maybe 5 times, not from the beginning and not till the end, but I've got the overall picture. I better like animation - The Simpsons, Futurama.

Q - -C-P-C-. How did your artist name come about?

A - Came about as needed.

Q - Needs who?

A - All.

Q - What labels do you work with? How did this deal come about?

A - Lets not talk about it. This you shouldn't ask me exactly. If you are interested in my medals - I have lots.

Q - How would you describe your style?

A - I work in various styles. So let the critics describe it, I better make music.

Q - Tell us something about your studio! (software, equipment etc)

A ¨C Most important things are in my head. I can do without equipment, using my lips, for example.

Q- Do you spend much time in your studio?

A - All of the time, sometimes they take me for a walk. But actually not so often.

Q - How much time could you spend writing a single track?

A - I don't want to answer to this. The difference of my creative process is in the fact that I don't write tracks, but construct a robot, which will itself play music after, basing on my tales.

Q - Are you looking toward robotization of the space?

A - I wouldn't mind some kind of upgrade for myself. For example, internet connection without computer directly into the brain.

Q - Tell us something about your musicproduction process, how do you go about producing your music?

A - Climb up the mountain. Scream as loud as possible. Echo brings the melodies. Take a stick and draw those melodies on the sand. Then use vision for scanning. And compile into a whole block of data. Make an archive and put into memory for storage. (This is one of the ways). For those who don't have mountains nearly - they can go to the
forest. But actually the technique is simple - the more emotions I go through, the better and more quality products comes out. But when I sit for a month in a studio -techno is coming out. Even though techno is also cool. Bytheway, in 2005 I am planning to make a project with Sulima, he is also Manifold.

Q - Do you have any interesting stories to tell from your travels and gigs??

A - One time I climbed up a mountain. Eventually it became dark. I couldn't come down because I wasn't alone there. Then I remember there was a night of the unreal beauty.
Then I was screaming something out loud into cosmos. Then my right arm became numb, not a whole arm, but the hand, and it did not work for the whole week, until I climbed that mountain again and could feel my hand again. And now I understand how cool is it that both of my hands are working, and I also have eyes and ears. I also can sing and
make cross-stitch embroidery with the sewing machine!

Q - Can you tell some story from the gig maybe?

A - Maybe this. KPR -6, which happened in 2004 in Moscow . A lot of people came there to party. Unfortunately, the stage was built so that a dj couldn't see people from there. So the connection with people did not happen.

Q - Whats the best sample you have used in a track?

A - maamaa - maaaamaa
Q - Why?

A - I like to watch people¢¯s reactions on the dancefloor. Reactions are very unusual when I play this track.

Q - Where do you take samples from?

A - I make them myself. Now I am working closely with Dejavu studio, I am making sample libraries for them - I have a big experience in doing this. I never copy libraries to anyone. It is funny, however, after 2-3 years since I made it to hear the sample used in the track of some other artist.

Q - Do you play Live often?

A - No. Live performance is a complicated process. It is difficult for me to do it alone. Only if I had 2 more hands then it could be possible. Possible to do it now also. I played live few times - one time in Berlin and a couple of times in Moscow. I can say that most of people on the dance floor don't understand when its live
happening, or a cd with mix. In 2005 I promise to make full live program for the unlimited period of time.

Q - Are you a good DJ?

A - It all depends on the people at the dance floor. When I get a kick from what I see, then I play.
Actually, I think that a good dj consists of 2 components, sometimes 3 (very rarely):
1 - technique. This is easy,
2 - artistic qualities (charisma) Not everybody is gifted with this,
3 - respect from the masses (this is rare).
Whether I am a good dj? I am good basically. Sometimes remains unfinished, but I just can be lazy sometimes.

Q - What kind of feeling do you think your music gives to people?
A- I write different kinds of music. Different music - different perception - different feelings

Q - What is your message for the people?
A - Love. Love is a main drive. It makes people come together and come to clubs. Even though many are hiding behind curtains of their psychological complexes or life troubles and pretend that they come to listen to music and dance - in reality they come for communication. And surely the main wish is to fall in love on the dance floor.
If that did not happen already.

Q - Are you involved in any other musical projects?
A - One of the main projects that I am involved in is Dejavu project. With all that makes it. This is a studio (the largest trance studio in the world, apparently), online shop, this is art, this is philosophy, scientific research, and, of course, a records label, which gives us a possibility to all these things.
Also there is a project called Chudo. It is a laboratory of sound study, in different times there were different people involved in it. There have not been so many achievements so far, let's talk
about it in future.

Q - What about other trance projects, besides C-P-C?

A - Oh.. Music yes.. There is a project called Osom - this is me, tovarisch Ljova KinDzaDza and mister Vasiliy Psychovsky.
Also there is an experimental project called Mirror. There I experiment with new formats and solution - I made few tracks in 5.1 Quadro format, but this is not trance music. It is psychedelic ambient.
Also there is also a project called Panatseya - includes everything from pop to euro-trance. Also under this name.I am making a soundtrack for a game, which is being programmed already the second year.
Also there is a project called Flip Factory, it¢¯s me and KinDzaDza. An excellent promising project.

Q - Which track has gotten the best response? Why do you think?

A - Honestly, I really don't know. I don't understand how it happened so, that my music has travelled the world and found its way to Internet. Probably, I am one of those few artists, who became known while not having a single release. Now I have released few
tracks on compilations, but this is only because in January 2005 my album was released.
For better sales it is necessary to be flash here and there in track lists.
Bytheway, after the album's release, I am planning to close C-P-C project. This music is too hard, I want something different.

Q - What do you think about your album? Best track?

Album It is made with my sweat. I am really tried. I learned that my album is going to be released when I got back from St-Petersburg to the studio. I was told that it has been sent to print already. It was already late to change or add something, and its good, because it could last for a few more years.
Now I am working on the second album. A different project. It will be released in February 2005. It is going to be something really interesting. But I am not going to reveal the name of the project to
anybody!!:)
As for the tracks - I like them all, otherwise I wouldn't release them.

Q - What are your future plans? (records, gigs?)

A - Yes. Recordings, gigs, maybe even concerts. And maybe someday I will watch my own creation from other side of the stage. Like a competition of robots-guitarists . so-styaza-n'e robo-tov - gitaristov
(C)Robot Verter (that's a character from a Russian movie about future)

Q- Who would you most like to work with? (music collaboration)
A - I think with Zolod, but I have a feeling that's it's inevitable. This man is a - b-t-e-r-y. He can sit for 20 hours in front of the computer, and after that he can go to play at one party. We had several experiences together. But actually there are many more talented people.ß.à with whom I have plans to collaborate, and it
appeared so that there are more tracks .

Q - Have made remixes of other artists?

A - Yes, this happened. I made a remix on Linda, which I did not finish and did not manage to to bring to life. It will die unheard. .

Q - Would you like to be remixed?

A - I don't know.. I don't really care. Neogen wanted to do something, and Max Loa, and Nexus also wanted, but nothing happened.

Q - Why it happened so that a lot of good new music is being produced in Russia?

A It's very simple. Russia is well-known for its talents, and when it became possible ( I mean the change of regime) to make music and to create in a whole, projects and bands started to appear. And it happened so, that trance culture became wide-spread in Russia.Ó (here it is worth to mention Timur Mamedov).

Q - so it means that everything is alright with trance scene in Russia?

A - I actually think that Russia, Moscow in particular, is a leader of trance music and a trend setter, I mean sound. Now happens what was happening in Israel 5-8 years ago. I mean public's interest to trance.

Q - What do you think about the present scene in GOA (if you have been there)?

A - No, I haven't been there, but I think soon I will find myself there, this is inevitable.

Q - How is it to live and being a musician in Russia?

A - It is good to live in general. We are making our own future. Somebody is making his future in a role of a bus driver, somebody in a role of a musician, and maybe all are equally happy. It's just somebody wants this, and somebody else something else. There
are those who want to be .

Q - Does Russian music and culture influence your works?

A - Undoubtedly so. As it was put by one taxi driver who happened to drive to me some place: "Do you think it is me, whom do you see in front of you? No, you see 100 000 passengers, which I was driving in my car during 10 years of my work. All of the information they were putting in my head - that's me..."
