Interesting Payment Structure for Solstice Festivals in Japan!!

Namaste People !!
Does this payment structure say anything to you?? I find it really interesting Smiley Cheesy Grin..points towards the mission of the festivals planners
Entrance Fee
Advance: 3500Yen
4 People in Car: 1000Yen
2/3 People in Car: 2000Yen
1 Person in Car - 3000Yen
* Limited 500 People
It seems that Parking is a major criteria for festival planning in Japan. The Payment structure is geared in a way that maximizes People attendence for a given number of cars that can be parked in the space allocated.
With the current situation of Gas prices..I think that car pooling should be encouraged in similar ways..But the Psy scene in Japan is huge compared to what we have here in the US and space is generally not an issue in the US unlike Japan..Maybe thats why Entrance is based on per person and not per car basis.
  You may think you can fly..but you better not try :) |
