have been mixing for seven years and just getting into production now, am very keen on this whole live performance with sequencers and samplers, was said before "real mixing". So what is required? Just step sequencer/s, channel mixer and sampler?
Oh has anyone heard of OZ group dbchills, they play live drum'n'bass (chilled) dah.. accoustic drums etc.

on your music , and the way u want to manipulate
it in live situation .

Style to be played, psy feel to break beats, tough tribal beats with funky synth sounds.
equipment... yamaha rs7000 already put money down, ummm laptop with ??? mixer/midi control for ?? me thinks this would maybe require additional drum machine or does the rs7000 update solve that little problem with continued play when switching songs?? Basically how can i tweak a sequencer/sampler and laptop combo for live PA?? Only real requirement is to keep dark/tough/tribal/psy sound...
Play around at home with gear in studio, been spinning for years and am now keen to move into PA scene, so much more creativity.
New to PA so keen on some others personal experience with it.. Have just began studying some rythmn theory... |
