So I tend to have alot of stupid little questions and find myself not really wanting to post a thread everytime...and also maybe wanting to just hang out and chat with other audio/psy nerds and I was wondering why we don't have some sort of IRC chat room?
It's entirely free and international and multi-platform.. pretty easy to use, just have to download a client and join the right server/room and kablamo.
So what do you guys think? I think it could be a really nice addition to the community and the spread of knowledge etc etc.

Shux, well.. I was hoping there could be one specifically for music creation...so we'll just have to take one over!!
Quakenet sounds great 
Also..none of those rooms exist anymore. Am I reading correctly that you shut one of them down?

irc is old and kind of a hassle to fool around with (plus i had my share of irc hanging out...bot creating and shit...)
maybe something more side by side with the website? im kinda outdated, but there are a few right? maybe even a shoutbox? =p (forum especific shoutboxes would be nice....a music creation only shoutbox for example...)
or hell, go for Ventrilo, that way we can all put our music as high as possible and bleed each other ears =)

i think it's a great idea.....
will definitely decrease the number of unwanted or just senseless threads if people are kind enough to ask on the chat...
