i just bought their latest compilation "floatation" today and it's really good, relaxing, smooth, atmospheric... just look at the tracklist:

Interchill is a helluva nice label! I met Nazco, the guy running this label in Brazil few days ago... this guy is a wonderful chill out dj, guys... if you ever have the chance to listen to him, go ahead! Really chilled and relaxed music that will take you on a loooong journey... and this is a killer (hehe) ambient compilation... not very psychedelic, but fine music @ it´s best! |

I had a short review somewhere here for this great release. :-)
yes Interchill release pure jewles.. go get'em all!
VOR, it's a shame there isn't much use for chillout dj's here in Israel. and if there are, no one is titled only as a "chillout dj". I'd be happy to become one. ;)

Ok...let´s go a bit OT... hehehe
I think that the chill out area on a party is a very special place... last year, in São Paulo (Brazil), the best parties were the parties that had good chill out areas... and an ambient dj is one of the most important person on the chill out... he´s the one who gives mood to the people that want/need some rest or just want to have a good time away from the dance floor madness... the chill out area is the place where ppl can sit down, have a conversation, get to know each other, boom shankar (hehe) and many other things... we say that we are a family, right? Imagine if you have a brother that only says "hello, nice music, huh? Do you know where can I find a pill?"... sux big time, right? And the music on the chill out is really important to make a nice atmosphere on it... an ambient dj gotta have a nice feeling to make a good trip on his set... I tell, you, man... a nice ambient set can make you fly much higher then a full on stomping set... other vibe, other energy, but also damn good!!! And the ones who are looking forward to learn a way to expose their feelings on a more chilled way deserve big respect!
