Psytrance is intelligent music only for the ones who can understand. Not only the production is sophisticated, but also the samples are carefully picked, the arrangement of the samples, panning and so on. Every track has its own theme. It's not just a title and then a mere track. Every track kind of sticks true to its title...and that is for those with vivid imagination 
And I think that most electronic music is IDM

sayng that is good musik it is ok..but saying that it is smarter than the other well kinda supreme stuff..and what about a metal header that think that his musik is more inteligent?and that he can reach things that u will never will and that he has a supreme thinking, and is illuminated by listenning 2 metal? (seems like we are taking about trance  )

yea check how intelligent psy is....like this intelligent forum....hahahah
i think psy is only as intillegent as the produce makes it, even the most so-called intilligent stuff could be down to sonic fluke, someitme sin the studio that clever sound just happens and isnt necessarly thought out by the producer....
btw if you want intillegent trance...

damn damn damn- don't lose sight of what it's all about:
what is music?
it is an art. behind this art are artists. some artists are more intlligent than others and you find geniuses as much as complete fools in all music types- regardless of whether we like it or not, art is art is art is art....
get the point? try talking to people who like classical music and you'll get shot down for saying that trance is more intelligent.
the point is, my friends, that this debate is not about artists but you as a listener- be more intelligent than others and embrace all good musci regardless of genres--- trust me, you'll have a much better time if you open your mind (like we're all doing, right?  ) and listen with a curious ear all that you can possibly get your hands on. you-like-you-don't-like; it don't matter cuz you're just exploring

no argument there. if you read the sentence, it doesn't say 'the most intelligent' but 'the more intelligent' which means 'one of..'
compared to other sub-genres of "trance" though, like euro, epic etc, it's freakin genius music.

This is just rubbish, i totally agree with Pavel in his words.
Every track that is released contains almost always the same amount of intelligence as theo other tracks no matter what genre. The only difference is that the intelligence contained in each track is different from eachother depending on who made it and their goal with the track.
And if you look at music with vocals then there is alot of intelligence molded into the lyrics. i mean it's not that you stirr up the mind of young americans to get Bush out of the white house with a C# basseline + some kobooms and swooshes....

When I used to listen to trance all it would do is remind me of triangles and squares, in other words mechanical. A bunch of sounds which are played at a faster bpm so it tricks the ears. Just like a movie tricks the eyes.
