you can try filtering: use a BP filter: set Q number to the maximum. start with a wide band, and find where the voice is heard best. now start narrowing the bandwidth, and adjust the Freq[for not to miss the voice].
this should do .
you can also achiieve this with a HP and LP filters assigned together. the quality will depend on the song: if the instruments are close to the voice [frequencies and timbres ] then this won't be perfect.

I know a trick which might work on some songs but not perfectly: Take a stereo file, invert phase one channel and then combine them. |
