Well if you bought it maybe you can contact Spectrasonics and ask for assistance right? XD
(i always hate that answe but for sake of moral and forum rules i had to hehe).
The thing is you have to make sure trilogy "knows" where Trilogy.dat is. Usually it would look in:
\Program Files\Spectrasonics\Trilogy\Trilogy Data
Make sure it is there, otherwise check if your software came with any instalation guidelines on this step. |

yap its all about that .DAT file
all the info is there
should be there hundreds of presets
btw trilogy is no synth just sampler (like nexus) so if it comes with no sounds its almost useless.

If the question is about the importance of the placement of the seg - file, then my answer is that it probably doesn't mather. When I installed it I just got the dialog box to choose where to put it. The reason is because the file is big and therefore you should choose where its appropite to locate it due to your space on the chosen harddrive. So just install it and put the seg - file where you have space and i'm sure it'll work just fine..good luck! |

and if its not in the same folder as the rest of trilogy because of harddisk size reasons make a shortcut of the datfile and rename it to trilogy.dat instead of shortcut to trilogy.dat like windows does |
