Inner Sound records has just released its second compilation called: Carpe Diem.
Even though the information given regarding this release refers to a morning progressive oriented release, the selection of tracks on this compilation speak, in my opinion, differently.
Most of the selection, if not whole, would fit a night scenario even better as the beat is calling out DARK names, sawn with sweet melodic atmospheres at times but with a solid monotonous DARK edge.
In a world of high BPM & a busy housy/clubby progressive market Carpe Diem takes us through the more traditional psychedelic progressive, monotonous, low beat deep trance lightly fused with a techno edge.
A retrodelic journey keeping together the scent of the pioneering stages of the psychedelic progressive trance movement.

Official release information:
The second chaper of Innersound Records’ view of modern progressive morning trance music.
A real mystical jounery into hitech sounds.
“Carpe diem” includes tracks from newcomer and already well known acts of the scene.
Nine tunes covering the whole spectrum of quality psychedelia:
from dark morning fullon to progressive intelligent psychedelic trance.

This comp is the bomb for minimal progressive full-on lovers... The best tracks for me are Xpero, Fog and alloy ally.

The rest are either too minimal, or they sound like yumade..

Watch out for the new ZENON records compilation "Peramutations", comming soon, to a sound system near you.. Its like the best tracks from this album, but better..           "VA - REWIRED" OUT NOW !! (techtrance invasion) ---> http://forum.isratrance.com/viewtopic.php/topic/86303/forum/9

I like what I have heard so far. Alloy ally is one hell of a stomper.

few nice trax on this one....
but Purple Passion's track... they could at least show some respect and call this one "Sophia" and not "Gloria"
after all it sound as if all they did was import Dead Can Dance "Song of Sophia" as it is....

(needles to say that i didn't like this track at all... unlike Dead Can Dance's music which is divine....)           Out Here We're Stoned....

I listened to it a couple of times now, and I must say I have quite a few tracks here that I really like. In fact, I like 'em all! You see, it's more the compilation as a whole... These nine tracks are all in a different style, and as such the whole compilation delivers a varied listening experience. Track 1 is a dark funky track. I like Sensient's style by the way. Track 2 is just plain dark and has these matrix printer sounds which sound really evil combined with the rest of the sounds Anyway, this one moves up until you get the final melody. Great work on the overall track, no standard hi-hats for example. Track 3 comes up and it's a good remix with some oomph in it. Not my fave here, but pretty good nonetheless. Track 4 is chunky style minimal with lots of dark pads. Track 5 continues in that style but is weirder and has these techno like influences. Track 6 is a lot heavier and funkier and is one of those tracks that has all things going for it (in my book)... Good bassline, heavy bassdrum. Nice sample usage also. Track 7 is weirder again, but this is really nice work. Track 8 is nice fluffy Cosmic Tone style. Nice for diversity here. Track 9 rounds the whole thing off in style. Nice work from Oxyd here. All in all: A really good compilation, in fact, one of the better ones of late IMO.           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. As death extinguishes us, so we become it."

Quite different and intresting compilation which contain fullon , minimal and tech trance in one ...

nice idea imho .. i wish all of comilations would like it

da best ... i need to admit that killa fulloner Stuntman have the best track on compilation while Greek dark psychedelic minimal Triplex got the second place ........ Sensient is third............

Greg on Earth is not fit so this Complation imho it would better go with tech trance artists of noise fullon but ok

Sensient ----------- Tim if you read this

You release too many tracks and about two or three month i don't care about your music because it sound the same ................

try to reduce releases quantity and increase quality ...... coz some day it will help you out ..........

i don't think Stuntman is full-on.. its more like psytech to me (techtrance to others).. and i also don't think this track sounds anything like the usual sensient tracks.. except maybe that little trance in the last couple of seconds of the track..

He gets tons of releases because his music can reach out to alot of different people..

I took a re-listen to the album last night (sensient one) and it just blew my brain apart.. especially track #2....

Keep it up Tim.           "VA - REWIRED" OUT NOW !! (techtrance invasion) ---> http://forum.isratrance.com/viewtopic.php/topic/86303/forum/9
