I've written some kind of synthesis on that, which is currently under evaluation by different people.
If you don't want to wait to see it online (in a few weeks probably), here are the main sources I used, most of which can be found online :

Good one - thanks for sharing that
Love this part:
There were always too many insipid vocals, and often tracks were too short. So we used to use Sony walkmans--no DATs then --to cut up the track, edit it, and stitch it together in various versions to make custom Goa mega mixes for the party |

What is missing from that article - most of it is very true - is that Cleo Odzer (she was one of the many original freaks in Goa) wrote her book about the many years she spent there - and when she went back to Goa to revisit old memories - was murdered for naming names in her book!!!
This is why Goa finished years ago
8 finger Eddie is on his last legs - bless him
The new Goa is all about cash
None of the original spirit is there anymore
Some of the die hards may say otherwise, but I tell you now - if they knew Cleo - they wouldn't say a word
RIP GOA |

Uhhhhh... I googled Cleo Odzer and everything I found said she died of natural causes. Where did you get the idea that she was murdered for revealing too much in a book about Goa?
