I like to buy Virus B so I am interested about the difference between Access Virus B and Access Virus C.

What is the exact difference and which model do you prefer and WHY ? ? ?

TNX in advance.

I personally never used the b... but i have many friends who did.

On the other hand i had a c for a few years and at present I have a ti.

what I heard is the b is easier to use simply because it has less options... it also sound a bit different because it has different filters... I know that some might prefer the virus b to the c. the truth is i never used the b but I know that the c was a pain in the ass to program... although it sounded fantastic..

So this is what I would recommend if you want ease of use and modern sounding their is not doubt that you should go for the ti. If you still want ease of use but want to pay less and maybe want that original virus b sound used in countless record then the b is the best option I think

i wanted to buy a virus and didn't think i could afford a C... until i stumbled across a really good deal. it meant spending a bit more money but IMO it's worth it.

why?

the 'analogue' Moog filter is really quite nice - very chunky and full sounding (particularly in 4pole mode!). it can honk and squeal beautifully when the resonance is up!

there are a few other little benefits... more buttons, more LEDs, more simultaneous FX, undo / redo implementation is better, i think...

but for me the absolute number 1 all time most important thing about the C is that you get an extra 3 modulation source slots and an extra 3 modulation destinations. this really does open up loads of possibilities and you can do much more with the synth.

ultimately though a Virus B (or even an A!) would be a wonderful addition to any studio... extra mod slots is useful for me because i love sound design, but you can still do amazing things with a Virus B.

whatever you choose, good luck and welcome to the club!
