His first track was "Train to Nowhere" on Turbo Trance's Unbreakable compilation - one of my favorites from the year. AFAIK, he is Swiss and his name is Roberto Filaferro (sp?). I have heard he has a pretty kickass live PA as well from a friend who caught him in October.

Supposedly there is a full album of his stuff due out this month on Turbo Trance, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Does anyone know what this guy is up too? "Destination future" pretty much changed my life as far as music is concerned and now to the best of my knowledge he hasnt done anything recently other than a few parties and compilation tracks in 2005?

Has god left us!?!?

It was a real sad day when I first saw that. Destination future was such a special album to me and so unique in everyway. I was so looking forward to a follow up but he's a busy guy I guess.

Never mind

I still havent found anything else that's measured up to it. Sure there's other stuff that's good but this was THE sound for me at the time and to this day I havent been given "that feeling" from listening to a cd start to finish in the way which Destination future did.

Every track had such an individual identity. I can't even find other artists that sound anywhere near like Roberto's style, which just stresses the point of how much we need more psypilot.

Definately a key moment in the evolution of my musical taste. No one can make a sound come out of a speaker like this guy can.
