Hello all

I just wondered if anyone else is on this mailinglist. I never subscribed to it and been receiving emails on a regular basis (a little to regular to be honoust) with their parties and updates etc etc...

I mailed every emailadres in the mails that i've been getting to get my email adres out of their database, but it's simply impossible to unsubscribe...

does anyone here know these people? i'm sure they mail me with the best intention but i really want to keep my mailbox clean.

I get it too, and I have no problem with it.

i tried just that in so many ways ... but there's absolutely no way to unsubscribe. i never got a single reply from the email adresses, when i use the form on the website i get this:

It would be sad though if this is the only way to solve this... surely the 100k messages that keep coming in should be stopable...

Your error was trying to unsubscribe - by doing that, you are only confirming that you have a real email address for spammers, not a disabled account of some sort...

Never try to unsubscribe spam mail, it's better to ignore and use a spam blocker, or else your spam will grow exponentially (my own unfortunate experience).

chi: you're absolutely right, with advanced spammers this is the case. they might eventually give up if you don't pay any attention.

but this is a party organiser, and not some big money-hungry spam-farm... i was hoping to find someone here that knows these people some way and is able to clear out this situation where (i assume i'm not alone) users get this email and have no way to stop it.

Ok, since not a single mail i sent is helping, i sent them an email to offer them my services as a projectionist for free. IF they react to this... i'm sorry but i'll be VERY dissapointed in this organiser.

promotion is one thing... this is another.

Also quite sad that many party organisers take e-mail adresses from this forum and don't even bother to ask if we want to recieve the e-mails before they start to spam us... I always report those e-mail spammers to spamcop.net and it actually work on some spam.

I also like to know what's going on around the globe but I reserve the right to choose from who I wnat this information.

Yes it is totally SPAM -

They took it from somewhere on the net, I never signed up for it.

I'm going to report them to their hosting company - that usually works.

Everyone else should too.
