Hey ..
Hope all is good and well.
The South African trance scene is cooking !!!!
More specifically Cape Town and the Western Cape has had an awesome outdoor trance party season.. but unfortunately it is coming to an end after this weekend. There are a few record labels down here and loads of talent creating a lot of good trance.

I'm in Cape Town.. haven't been to any parties in Joburg. But yeah.. I've heard that the parties there are extremely underground ....
there are a few websites that I mentioned which are Jo'burg based trance sites.
psynomad
mushroom-mafia
those 2 are joburg based...
mushroom mafia apparently throw some kick-ass parties up in Joburg...
They make a trip down here to Cape Town once in a while... and those boys know what they're doing!
Most trance parties in Cape Town are pretty underground ... you won't find much information about them.. besides small flyers or information on specific sites on the internet. I find the smaller parties down here to be much more fun than the bigger parties... although the upside of bigger parties is a huge sound rig.. which is always awesome.
Bent Sentient information can also be found on either the Psynomad or Mushroom mafia site.. can't remember which.

there also Lunartech in Joburg!! but Cape Town is where its at!!
And dont forget Vortex!, Transgression ( dunno if theyre SA or internat ).
Look out for the big big Vortex party happening in outside Kruger National on December 4. Teasers have been out since mid 2001 already! Its gonna be big!
The good artists down here include Bent Sentient ( released on Alchemy's electrium ) and Shift ( released on Alchemy's conspirators of pleasure ) and not mention Nubble ( ha ha!! I wish!!! )

but it seems to be down at the moment
They organise the bigger parties in Cape Town during summer.
Their next party will probably be the one that's going down near the Kruger National park at the end of the year..
I checked out the details on that Transolar Festival...
looks like a really cool line-up and probably gonna be a kick-ass party...
but woooaaahhhhwwww man....
it's kinda pricey!!!!!!
I'd probably go to that one..
but....yeah.
