Info about coming to Israel for a party

Hello all ----
I am a South African living in London and I would very much like to come to Israel to go to a party because I love Israeli trance and to me, Israel is the centre of the trance world. I would like to come around the end of May -- would this be a good time to come, any parties happening then? ..or could someone recommend a really good night at a local club?
Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanx.

P.S. I know this is a long shot, but does anyone know an Israeli called Uri Zukkerman? I met him in Africa in 1997 and he introdcued me to trance and I would like to get hold of him.

May is indeed a good time to come since the season has started and at may its not so hot at the day and the nights are not cold anymore |

I imagine most of the parties would be outside of the main areas --- is it easy to get transport to them and to stay somewhere relativly close? I would be able to stay for, say 5 days or so.
What area would be the best - I would like to go to Tel Aviv nd use that as a base, I would also like to go to a CD store to get some music.

Well, since parties arent a daily thing here (usually only happen at weekends) i hope you realize that if u come to only 5 days ull hardly be able to make it to more than one party but if you come to experience israel (not just the underground trance scene) id say its allright. Tel-aviv would be a good base since everything you need is near, public transport, (lots of cd shops, hehe) food, etc. Regarding for arrival to parties it is very tricky since i myself, and i know of many others, although live in this country often find ourselves without a way to reach a party (i mean the underground ones), but i know of some ppl who use taxi cabs (no public transport on friday night) but i guess itll be better if you cordinate it with one of us first. Ill be delightfull to help. Anyhow you might wanna plan your trip on staying here between the 10-11 because theres this tribal dance event thingy (read about it in the party section), im not sure itll be good and itll prolly include some faces you dont wanna see but i hope a lot of nice ppl will arrive. hey african bro , you just can find good trance party here in five days
it's underground scene as someone here said
you can't dance psy trance all the night without
extacy or LSD so it's illegal here ( fuckit)
police comin and arrestin some doped ppl
but i suggest you to buy some CD in Tel Aviv
buy : Infected mushroom all albums or maybe unrelized tracks also Analog pussy and some astral projection
there the kings of israeli trance .....
you in south africa can make wild party , you have there a lot of free space to make dicsoz

hey Gil...thanx for the help. What you say is very true, I am coming primarly to Israel to go to a party, but I am very interested in the country and the people there. I would probably spend three days at a party or festival, if I can time it right, and the other days seeing a bit of the city or country.
I work in London and only get 20 days holiday a year, which is a bit shit, and I have to go home to South Africa for a wedding, so my time is limited.
I have seen the information about the coming party, but I can not time it right for that. Very unfortunate, because I listen to a lot of music by those artists.
It is in fact, tonight, a party in London with DJ Eyal Y, one of my favourite labels and DJ/producers - I have had to make a sacrifice to not go tonight, and instead have decided to come to Israel instead!
Thank-you very much for your offer to help in planning, if something worked out it would be great, but I would not want you to go to any trouble for me.
I would probably travel by myself and am quite prepared to use the taxis and such to go to one of the parties.

....yes, its true what you say, we do have lots of very good open air parties in South Africa - Vortex mainly.
I think that the trance scene came to South Africa, and especially Cape Town ( where I cam from ) because of the space and the fact that we can operate without to much hinderance of the police....we are Africa and we all smoke the African herb :-)

Hey man, its no trouble at all, ill be glad to help in a lot more ways then transport, even if u need a place to drop or anything.
Please msg me before you come and ill give you my details, but just so you know - if you are planning on coming her e partywise i would spend my vacation on solipse, its gonna be awsome, its a shame t ocome to israel for a few hours party, and theres always the risk the party will be closed down. As i said, if and when u decide to come to israel drop me a line at sambusak@goatrance.com

Thanx for the replies, that's really cool of both of you and has definitely made me even keener to come to Israel!
I am trying to sort out leave from work - the time I would probably come would be over the weekend of the 23/34 June - I hope that would coincide with a outdoor party, but if not, an indoor one would still be cool.
Unfortunately I can't make Solipse in Zambia although I'm sure it will be great, I have travelled through Zambia and it is a cool country.
I will find out more details this weekend and see what plans I can make, I will then mail you guys personally.
