What are some artists, or tracks that are influenced by goa/psy? I'm looking for examples like classic rock, other electronic music, and popular songs today.
If anyone could help me out that would be great. Thanks. |

You must check out Ozric Tentacles. It's space/ psyrock with strong influences from the dub and ambient scene.
Soumisaundi/spugedelic genre of electronic music draws heavily from psychedelic Goa trance. You could try out artists like Texas faggot, Haltya, Squaremeat etc
Psy ambient is one genre that might interest if you're into downtempo music. It combines elements of psytrance , new age and world music. Artists I would recommend are Shpongle, Entheogenic, OTT & Bluetech .

I dont know any "popular" songs today inspired by Goa/Trance tho.

I think I had it the other way around...
the existence of the entire genre of goa/psytrance is based on the profound influence of the NOIDZ.
