I'll admit infected was one of the first artists (along with astral projection and juno reactor) that I got into. I cant say that I really like where they are taking it now but thats a common enough opinion. I do however think that Converting vegetarians was brilliant.. they should have stuck to the experimental side and then trance side format IMHO but hey whatever works, be rockstars and have some guitar player jamming like its a hair band.. whatever works for you.. its getting a little skazi when it gets to that though isnt it?
anyway.. Infected has already played Ultra before.. its always the choice for token psy act.. you know for a festival claiming to be a cross section of electronic music, psy is always left out. I'd like to see some currently cutting edge shit go down there, but I think they are afraid they might convert the raver horde over and then the commercial raves wont have anyone chewing binkies to DJ Icey anymore..
hahah. I kid I kid. but yea, if thats what it takes to get a big show to go off.. I'll stick to small ones. I'd rather not have to sing terribly and do wack covers to pull the kids in. Infected.. I respect what you guys have done, you paved alot of ground, but with the latest album I think you officially lost the wave and hopped on the livetronica bandwagon. hope it works out.

I betcha the deepfryer has that on vinyl.. hes got that ghetto tech on lock down. you should check out the second track on his myspace for squirmtronix, its got a dope ghettosquirmadelic intro that turns into proper suomi.

Infected are legends.. not my taste there music these days.. but stay in my memories for their amazing psychedelic trance work.. I rly wish for my own personal greedy enjoyment that they would make psytrance again. but maybe not everyone thinks like that they are the producers they choose what they want to do..
it's rly up too what the crowd they are attracting enjoys.. we are all the same in the end can't crucify them for making music for the masas just cause they don't make psy for our enjoyment
Which i rly wish they did was and still are(old stuff) some of my favorite psytrance around... genius
