I just saw infected mushroom live a couple of hours ago.
I was extremely surprisedd about there new live performance...it's like not even electronic anymore !
they had a drummer,a guitar player,a vocalist,and a guy on the nord lead.
basicly there was no bass i could hear and the kick drum was made live by the drummer !
I just thought i'd open a conversation about this and hear peeps opinion on infecteds new live for the ones who have seen them recently on there ''Becoming Insane'' Tour.

i saw the live too
The kick was'nt made by the drumer.. u are exaggerating..
u r tryin to describe an rock band but they are not.
as long they playing psytrax on thier show they are trance band.
yes they have many trax with Lyrics and Pop/rock influence, and yes they finish the show with a lyrics song.. But still thier new live act is one of the best, really amazing and enjoyable.

the vocalist and the guy on the nord lead were duvdev and erez.
unfortunately i'm only going to see the live with drummer in october, but i've seen a lot of their shows with the guitar player and i love it. it may not be pure psytrance but at least it's different. if i wanna see someone playing a cd i go see the 100000 other psyartists there are. especially now that i've been disliking trance more and more, this is like a breathe of fresh air

Once IM was a brand in Psy that guaranteed a solid kick and a whoomping bass that could rock any ass on the floor. I too find their newer set and sound, very different and i find the production poor. It went wrong many years ago - but will keep getting worse?

Infected mushroom is one of the few bands/artists in the whole psyscene that performing live!
their live is real live ....almost all live acts in psyscene is fake....playing files from laptop! 
im sure that ppl in this event enjoyed....!
about IM in generally....i think they one of the few artists in the whole psy scene that did something new
and innovative in every album...if you like it or not!

I ran out the door as they got threw there intro for there "new show" ...
later i got text messages from people still at the show saying "this music sucks" !!
but then again, i don't know what people were expecting ?? Protoculture?

i saw their live a month ago and it was CRAP but the guitar and drummer are not the ones to blame... its duvdev and duvdev alone... everytime he opened his mouth i felt like dying... why the hell does he have to ruin it??? they can do just fine without his "singing" (that is if you call a nasty voice shouting all kinds of what are supposed to be words and funny stupidass sounding mumblings) and the live would be alright... fuck it... i dont think theres a person in the world that needs to *pay* to see such crap really they were the worst show that day and im comparing them to astrix and other bands (not trance at all) that were there... they just fucking ruined any kind of fun...
and dont get me wrong im not a IM hater but that show is just apalling... |
