So they make - good production music.
Thats what they want, making living of their music. And maybe making only psychedelic isnt enough for them.
I agree with parapsyched. I would love to hear The gathering or Classical with the current production. However i think those albums are one of a kind and it will be really hard to make something in that level again.
But still, their chillout stuff is simply remarkable! Im sure they can make great psychedelia but maybe they got tired of making music for small amounts of people on drugs and want to be bigger.

no no, I think that would fuck up the whole album(s). Truly, I do. Maybe a re-mastering of the albums. Clean it up a bit, just a bit. But a remake in production, like the new Merlin remix? It would become to plastic, to dead. GREAT sound, but no soul. No, individual taste in sound perhaps, but I think that idée would kill the albums spirit. Keep it dirty, keep it alive.
Btw. For the one who said that old IM isn't psychedelic (in HIS subjective opinion), obviously never took a good mushroom trip to The Gathering, Classical Mushroom, Shiva Shidapu albums. If you would try to visit the albums in other dimensions, you would realize that it is HIGHLY psychedelic. People and their god damn subjective opinions tsk tsk  |

..and the whole Other Side disc from "Converting Vegetarians" are all good and fun downbeat tracks. Love them. But to be honest, I think their all so praised latest downbeat track "stretched" is (I’m sorry), crap. It has some charm and this and that. But overall, in my personal taste and opinion, I really dislike it. I can't bare listening to it. I've tried a million times to like it. I have. But no, no. It's a bad bad track. Wonder if they will release any more downbeat chill oriented tracks on the upcoming album?
Btw. Isn't Kadafi originally written Kaddafi?

streched for me was the only 1 track in 'I M The Supervisor' that had something of the old IM in it.
& dancing with kadafi for me is as gud and as psycedelic downbeat can get.
