Also, the interview was not a fake. A'dam has a great radio show and invites special guests now and then. In March he's having Process come in and play some of the music he's been into lately (it's not psytrance).
I'm looking forward to the IM show at House of Blues in Hollywood this weekend.

Detox, i don't think anybody was asking you anything personaly but it's ok .
Intervew was fun, very funny from both sides, a host and a guest.They both took a piece out of each other and enjoyed it too, seems like they both have great sense of humor. I'll try to find out if it was a real interview though. |

You all are seriously too worked up over this.
It was a joke. It is a joke. It will continue being a joke as long as people keep talking about it.
I am glad you all got something out of the show, whether it was a laugh or anger.
If Infected ever want to do a real interview and answer my questions, I am always up for it.
The Process show in a couple of weeks will be real. Sean is looking forward to coming out and playing. Thanks for tuning in everyone.

On a serious note (damn i hate being serious)... and speaking from a legal perspective - i don't blame them.
It also did have an occasional unpleasant xenophobic edge to it... even, dare i say it... anti-semitic?
I'm sure this wasn't the intention but you guys should really think about the legal implications of your 'jokes' - defamation and the resulting loss of earnings isn’t a laughing matter. I’m not really up on US law but if IM aren't happy and can prove malicious intent (or maybe even recklessness) then you guys could be in some serious shit.

I'm sure they were just having a bit of fun but in these days of escalating extreme right-wing views it's pretty easy to read darker subtext into just about anything.
I have deleted the recording but i think there was a bit about his 'blonde haired, blue eyed' little sister being popular in Israel - that seemed slightly dodgy to me... and also the implication that 'foreigners' come over to the states, take drugs and treat women like shit? Bet that would play well with the right-wing nutters.
Again, i don't have the recording any more so i can't be exact as to what was said but i'm sure there are people out there who definitely wont get the 'joke'.

It is really funny that you bring this up while I am being called an anti-semite.
I am sure you all know Shahar. He runs this site (or used to). He met my sister, if memory serves. It was my *older* sister and she moved out to Israel with her husband and two daughters while he went to Hebrew University. This is fact. While out there, the daughter with blond hair was showered with much attention anytime they went anywhere and was quite often called a "barbie."
Stating this fact does not make me anti-semitic. Mentioning that a lot of my white American friends have a thing for Japanese girls doesn't make me racist against either of those races either. It is a fact. Some white boys love Japanese girls. Some love white girls. Some love all races. They are simple fetishes and little cultural differences. Nothing wrong with pointing them out. The problem comes when trying to hide them.
Brian Wilson and David Lee Roth love California girls. Does that make either of them bad? No.
Even if Erez of Duvdev do love the blond haired big booty ho's, that is not a problem. They are free to mention it all they like. I like redheads. Who cares?
But to call me an anti-semite for that, Fuck off. If I can be held accountable for the things I say, so can you. Perhaps I should start legal action against you too? |
