I just saw Infected Mushroom at Coachella....and again I am disappointed....even more than the last time I saw them. They are getting progressively worse. It doesn't sound psychedellic nor trance. The bald guy (sorry don't know his name) has completely taken over the stage by having his mouth glued to the mic saying "uh, ya, come on" and other annoying things that completely cover up the music. It almost seems like he wants to go solo...which I hope he does. He ruins the show. Of course they did use their infamous distorted guitar riffs, but even that wasn't as exciting as when I saw them over a year ago at the House of Blues in Hollywood. I recommend not wasting your time with this event and let the people who actually enjoy listening to that dude to go to the show. I am not exaggerating, they were terrible. I still can't believe this change in sound. I truely loved classical mushroom, the gathering, and even parts of BP Empire, but this show will not include anything from those albums, so don't expect to hear anything good from them. Just trying to give my piece of mind to spare everyone the disappoinment that I had.

Oh oh, and don't forget paul van dyke!!! That was another dissappointment...I mean, I knew I wasn't going to be into his music....but I can sometimes enjoy a good Dj playing music I don't usually listen to. Not in this case!
Benny Benassi was a great mixer, but his music selection really sucked also. If only the kids that are into that music had a taste of some psychedellic trance, wonder how they would react.
Naw...they prolly wouldn't enjoy it because it wasn't full on enough to get the effect they want when sucking on their pacifier, eating candy, and blowing vicks in peoples eyes.
And let me just say by the way that last year at Coachella, Paul Okenfold trainwrecked his own music during every mix! I'm sure the girl flashing him in the front row who owned a Paul Okenfold purse didn't help him get back on beat either.

You won't be jamming to Busta's rhymes because he got arrested

Few years ago when Infected Mushroom were still loyal to their fans, there was a poll on their website where people could vote on what kind of tunes should be most present at their parties. I think the choice was between old and classic or newer. Do you know what the poll said? Hehe, I wish they have listened to their fans.
DO YOU READ ME? I WISH YOU HAD LISTENED TO YOUR FANS!!!!           the sky was pink

Man, Rage was amazing! I watched the first hour and it sounded like they were having sound problems. They actually started out really tame, because the bass was absent They weren't raging as much as I remembered. I ran to the Infected Stage. Their show was cut short...so then I ran back to rage. They put on a long show. I caught the last 20 minutes of rage. There was a guy who passed out in front of me and started shaking from dehydration. I should've never left to see Infected but I just really wanted to know if they still sucked and THEY DO!

last year in Buenos Aires, Argentina they gave a 3 hour live set playing the most amazing live set ever, tons of tunes from Classical Mushroom, fuckin PSYCHO and it was amazing. 3 weeks ago i saw them again in a crappy place in Mexico city and leavin all the shitty sound, crowd etc the live show was pretty bad. It looks like they r still not 100% prepered 4 this kind of a rock live show! it sucks.
Its like Metallica will give a 2 hour live show only from Reload and St. Anger and none of the classics. wtf??
Im gonna go 2 c them again in webster hall and if they dissapoint me again im done with it.
I want Classics! didnt u say u r workin on new versions 2 old songs? Mushi Mushi? Merlin???????
I know not 2 expect psytrance music from them anymore, but a good show for a fan thats with them 4 10 years now it will b really dissapointing 2 c Duvdev yet again 4gettin the lyrics of the lady singer on Muse Breaks......
Take a Breath.... Relax!

Looking forward to see Infected Live. Their last album was very diverse but still very psychedelic. Even though it was more for home listening...I believe they will morph it to a dance floor mayhem. Plus Dj sets from NYC's Brandon and Elnadiv. See you all there

So...Infected live, ah? First off, all due respect to all who were a part of this party, but...Webster Hall is the worst place to throw psy parties. Everything about it is just very commercial in a really bad way too, well that's why they only book big acts there(makes sense). Especially the demographic, and the "vibe" there has no connection what so ever to "psychedelic". 2nd off, seeing Infected Live seemed to be interesting at first, but...I was very disapointed. I expected some new rmx's of old classics, and maybe 2-3 trax with vocals, Maximum, as much as it is not my style. But almost every track was filled with bad vocals and guitar mayhem(which was actually nicely played) but not my prefered style of "psy". This was purely a bad imitation of a rock concert. Plus...they were joined by exotic dancing ladies, and some flame tricks. I actually got more of a kick from the girls than the actual show itself . But all in all...people enjoyed it, no doubt about it. Infected Mushroom intend to rock everywhere they go...and they do. Their music is more like Psychedelic Electro Rock and not Psy-Trance...But I think you already knew that...didn't you? In the end, even if we don't like it for what it is, people have fun and smile on the dance floor...and that's always priceless! Dj Brandon played nice music as always, but during mid-Infected We had to get out of there asap . I bet ElNadiv played some good tunes as well, too bad we could not take it for another second

Big BooM to everyone,
Max
