This is the single cd for the very long awaited double album "Converting Vegetarians".
deeply disturbed is one of the dance floor tracks of this year.
i think this this single is very good and have fresh tunes i like the most from the single the violet vision remix i think the yahel remix is to much long , heavy and boring.
and drop out is a great freestyle track i think we have to wait to the album the see if the akbum will be good like the single

Up to now, in my taste, Violet Vision Rmx is the best track... Different.

The yahel remix proposes a clubier approach of the title, don’t think that the first hour fans of IM would be happy whith this version. The global musical content reminds me a UK trance band ‘Chicane’, so not original at all.
Violet Vision work seems to me much more interesting. The big particularity is the high distortion of the leading guitar part. Elsewhere sounds to me like a live remix performance ( more energy, more warm feeling ) not something coming out of a studio, but it’s just an impress i could be wrong and just a ‘hall’ effect.
Drop out, downtempo stuff with duvdev singing (distorted again).
The begining is strange but after the singing part, the track results better with a cool acoustic guitar melody & a rising loop sharply sour synth. But then , distorted Duvdev (singing) comes back & an electric guitar appears.
I’m not fully convinced whith this one, it’s not good as Elevation.
Globally this maxi could fits Im's fans which has missed Deeply Disturbed because they were reluctant with Birthday maxi especially the collaboration with berry sakharof resulting into a too much cross over style oriented.
Mention to Violet Vision remix. |

Well, the Violet Vision remix is great, Drop Out isn't bad too
The rest is... hmmm...

I have to say I'm very very happy about this new Infected Mushroom tracks. If the whole album will be like this, I'm going to explode... I like all the mixes of the tracks, the one from Yahel is very soft and chilling, the original is just great but the Violet Vision Remix is absolutely top notch!! Especially the guitar part, my favourite song at the moment... The last ambient track is also nice, even if I'm normally not really into ambient. |
