Infected in Seattle!

hey i was just doin my daily visit to the rarely updated infected site when i saw something that caught my eye, something i thought my eyes would never see, Infected to play Seattle in May. Anybody got anymore info on this? It better not be some sorta joke. I heard about two years ago of someone in Seattle tryin to get them to come out but i guess it never happened, there are actually rumors that the party did go down but was kept real quiet but i dont believe it. Anyways lets get some more info on this cause this will be the biggest and best psy party ever to hit this town! |

Yes Infected get booked in weird places sometimes. If you think about it, them playing live is really the best way to convert new people to trance. Big props to whoever is bringing them. I guess they are "Converting Vegetarians" in Seattle.
I remember they were booked for Milwaukee last year also, kinda seemed strange to me at the time but the organizer backed off at the last second.
Keep us posted if you hear anything.

Maby Seattle has a big rave in May and the orginizers try to build the best line-up. I saw a flyer for a big rave that had more than 60 djs from all types of electronic music (trip-hop, trance, house...).
It can also mean that Infected are getting so big they are even invited to places like Seattle.

youre right in not believing it.. infected mushroom has never been to seattle

That is USC's 7 year anniversary, and has NOTHING to do with the Infected Mushroom show. Its funny that you mention it, because the USC show is the week after IM. Our show is completely focused on Psychedelic Trance and pure maddness

Well, because they are getting so big, they were incredibly hard to get out here. It took 7 months to secure the booking (from when I first emailed Eyal with an inquiry).

You are absolutely right.. and a Live+DJ set is even better Seattle has a close knit/underground Psychedelic Trance scene and we are trying to get more people involved and give the music we love so much some exposure.
The show is going to be even more exciting with some of the surprises we have in store.. Lets just say this is going to be a fucking freak show led by the greatest live trance act in the world.. and probably the best BIRTHDAY that Muschi will ever have

his album on USTA should hopefully be out sometime around then.
talented, seattle based.... would be a perfect opener for IM.

on the same website it says they will play SF the day after they play in Seattle. haven't heard any details about it though... |
