haha holy shit this is trippy as hell. which is a good thing, it sounds sick. i guess the only thing I would say is be careful not to get too trippy, because there are certain things you expect as a listener. for example, the drop at 2:10 tripped me out too much I would say. I was expecting that sidechained pad to lead straight into a four on the floor pattern but instead there was a crazy reverse kick or something right before the downbeat. Im not exactly sure what was going on there and it was certainly interesting and unexpected, but Im not convinced it was unexpected in a good way. really cool ideas going on here tho! |
