hey i was checkin out the lineup....and in accordance with the name INDIAN SPIRIT....shudnt we have an indian Dj atleaston the lineup....i see a DJ Iguana....but never heard of him here......but also is Iguana an alias of naked Tourist ??? |

hindus are the followers of hinduism, most of which live in india (but as IT ironically pointed out, there are other religions including sikhism, christianism, islamism, etc)
indians is the name of the people from india
Indians in english may also be the name of the natives of the american continent
I dont know in spanish, but in portuguese there is a different name for indians from india (indianos) and indians from americas (indios), so its not confusing.. |

Well I am pretty much aware of the different religious groups in India. The point was about "Indians" so obviously "Sikhs" has to do nothing with that.
As much as I am not a native english speaker, I think that "Indians" is all about the native Americans, and not locals of India. Having said that, in Hebrew, as in Spanish there are different names for the natives of India and natives of America
