Offtopic! but hey....

What Makes a Person Rich . . .

One day a father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the
country with the firm purpose of showing his son how poor people live.

They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be
considered a very poor family.

On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, "How was the
trip?"

"It was great, Dad."

"Did you see how poor people live?" the father asked.

"Oh yeah," said the son.

"So, tell me, what you learned from the trip?" asked the father.

The son answered: "I saw that we have one dog and they had four. We have
a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek
that has no end. We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have
the stars at night. Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have
the whole horizon. We have a small piece of land to live on and they
have fields that go beyond our sight. We have servants who serve us, but
they serve others. We buy our food, but they grow theirs. We have walls
around our property to protect us; they have friends to protect them."

The boy's father was speechless.

Then his son added, "Thanks, Dad, for showing me how poor we are."

Isn't perspective a wonderful thing? Makes you wonder what would happen
if we all gave thanks for everything we have, instead of worrying about
what we don't have.

Appreciate every single thing you have!           "It's not the fall that kills you; it's the sudden stop at the end." - Douglas Adams

okay, thanks for the nomination... but think about it, the first thing that comes up when someone opens up the trance section is this thread... it is full of offtopic, when we actually have a whole section for offtopic discussions... the reason why the indian section was closed was because there was way too much offtopic, which you can clearly see in this thread... so, doesnt it justify the closing of the section??? if you dont think so, please go on posting... if you do, please stop posting, let this thread just sink to the the bottom...           We meditate upon the Spiritual Effulgence of That Adorable Supreme Divine Reality, the Source of the Physical, the Astral, and the Heavenly Spheres of Existence. Arey baba, u can only post links in this whole 'offtopic' section you are talking about.

Maybe you should be a li'l more adventerous and try starting an offtopic discussion there           "It's not the fall that kills you; it's the sudden stop at the end." - Douglas Adams

For all the "on topic freaks" plese take a look at some of the other topics in this section before you'll go all out abusing your indian brothers for 'allegedly starting offtopic threads'...

- Need some movie recommendations for a night of shroom fun.
- Babies Psy names...
- Goa gil VS Raja Ram (no its a vs. set.. its who wud win in a fite)

@boomshanthi ... are these the threads you'd rather see on top of the page?
b^ll$!!
