A very honest effort from Vishal Bhardwaj...! Shahid Kapoor has gone out of hiS skIn to gEt thiS oNE goIn..!
Another one I'm awaiting to check out is WAKE UP SID.. should be fuN..!

i m sorry to be cynical here but kaminey is really not worth my penny i mean i wud'nt have been disappointed if it was ne other director but Vishal Bharadwaj makin a movie like this is jus pathetic IMHO. he's tried to copy Quentin Tarantino direction & has failed miserably!
I mean a guy who made 'Blue Umbrella' & 'Omkara' is tryin to copy hollywood plots is jus not my cup of tea
I had a big headache watching this movie
i had for respect Vishal & now i m havin second thoughts bout it!

I did not say it was the best effort I just said it was an honest try... It did not work out they way it should have but not films should you know... thats the way it is...! You just need to be a little open about such stuff and further give credit for indian filmmakers trying such stuff.. there are WORSE things doing the rounds.. anyways to each its own..!

well for me cinema is more of an art form rather then jus entertainment, so wen an artist leaves his originality jus to show that he can replicate an Picasso it's jus not my cup of tea!
if u liked it gud u got ur money's worth but sorry i certainly didn't.

Yes I have and I thought it was killer....same goes for a film called Manorma Six Feet Under.. I really liked that one as well..! But sometimes movies are not made for art sake you know and I agree with you that cinemas need to show that creativity coz at the end of the day it is an ART form.. many directors especially Indian ones replicate many of the films from the west.. I thing they do so to suffice their creativity in terms of how much they can pull things of or as a mark of admiration towards that persons work..but yea most of them turn out to be crap..
Bhardhwaj did Omkara which was again taken of Shakespeare novel.. but that turned out to be pretty good.. so yea sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't ..!
By the way I saw the movie online, do not put in the country man so yea all in all good time pass  ..!
