Just a correction... It's not really the first.
You should probably research a bit more...
Check out East Stepper, who has actually been making and releasing D&b/Dubstep for a bit now and his stuff was also aired at BBC Radio 1, and there are quite a few others as well making it for quite some time.
East Stepper will also perform live at the alternative stage at Shanti Jatra. For more check ..

Well
there is a really fine line between
dub step and drum n bass anyways..
call it what u want It sounded like a mash of the two styles to me.
I liked the music so I thought that I would share it because he is one dood who represents our country in more international festivals than anyone else.
@ psychamito - Its a promotional mix yes.

Hello Sanat, CDs will be on the way real soon Will definitely inform you once it has left my hands.
Addressing the Drum n Bass and Dubstep similarities, there is a fine line, DnB has always widely used what is called the 'wobble' in nu age DubStep [called a Reese FX in DnB lingo]. DubStep is essentially Drum n Bass crunch and tones meets Reggae percussion arrangement.
Oh and also, Distorted: Sushi and Idli are both rice based gastronomic treats The same ingredient, just a different implementation, just like DnB/Dubstep, you actually used a good analogy to prove Sanat's point - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

also there are already i think 10-15 dubstep artists indian,,i heard a cd on times music of indian dub steppers piyush bhatnagar and some other artists...
anyway i feel dubstep is slowed down variant of drumnbass with a platform to mix with any genres withinit like bass nectar ,,i heard even death metal stuff mixed with dubstep as backdrop....as for me,,its doesnt do much, but yes some stuff very interesting.
Hello Brian,
Thanks for clearing the air on how the two might be related to each other.
I do not have so much exposure to Dub Step and Drum N Bass.
Maybe with time I will start to sell these two genres at my web shop as well because I can that there is a lot of talented musicians out there.
