Hey forumusers something ive been thinking about lately is why and how do i get away from increasing levels on channels while automating send effects in cubase sx3.
Very often while dealing with diffrent plugins such as reverb a, audiodamage dubstation, well franqly alot of plugins. When i automate the sendeffect i get a high diffrence in volume on that particular channel. What should i do to prevent this from happening? Its not realy helping the workflow if you have to manually edit the volume in accordance to the signals apmlitude.
It would be realy great if i could just stick a brick wall on the FX channels but im sure its much harder than that hehe
Thanks for reading.

I don't get it, you increase the send and you get a higher volume on the channel, besides the buss/aux return, where you are feeding the dry signal to?
Could you not set the send to pre fade so that the channel's fader position, is irrelevant to the send fader.

even easier then limiter..
you should make sure the effect is 100% wet i reken
if it has some % of the dry singnal i can see why it raise the volume .. otherwise shouldnt happen , not with reverbs and delays anyhow
an example in cubase or FL will be the native reverb button "send" that makes it 100% wet instantly. www.sattelbattle.com
