Some stuff I read up which u guys may find useful. Thought Id share.
1. Emotion is associated in music by making music mimic the human voice expressing an emotion, like happiness or anger.
2. Emotion is associated in music by making music mimic human motion during an emotion, like bouncing in happiness, or wilting slow sadness etc.

You all know the goosebumps you feel when a trax hits home?
Whats that?
Is it the frequency hitting your bodies water and causing a reaction?
|
|
It is not a physical reaction. It is an emotional one (which can have physiological effects). It is your brain doing it. Not the sound waves themselves.

I've thought about this lots over the years. Usually goosebumps are the tensing of small muscles under the hairs in the skin in an effort to keep warmth on the surface. In the case of the musical effect on the brain, is this in case you hear something so you good that you just have to take all your clothes off and run all about the place?
Seriously I can't think of a better theory |

our teachers told us that it already happened with motor-driven subs that they catched the resonant frequency of some organs so they nearly exploded at some people standing in front of them...
dont know if this is really true tough
