I think the following sequencers are the most popular;
Cubase, Logic, FL Studio, Sonar Ableton Live & Reason..I know some producers that use Cubase rewired to either FL Studio or Reason..
I use Cubase SX 3 now but taught myself how to make using FL studio..FL was great and i used it for a year or two but eventually i found i couldn't really get all my ideas down with it alone so i move to cubase..I love SX now & have only just scratched the surface its a great program!
Sonar 6 & Ableton 6 are also supposed to be really neat & intuitive..I tried my hand at Sonar but gave up coz i'd have to spend way too much time learning how to do simple stuff all over again..Think i'm gonna get into Ableton Live for live acts..
How much do you wanna bet this thread is gonna turn out into another 'x sequencer is better than y' thread!

You know who's always start with those wars .. ?
Its the all deprived FL users . (They know the real truth deep inside but never confess and admit and here is the real problem and not this war or that stupit game 'who's better') .
Never heard any Logic/Cubase/Protools that even thought about . They dont have time for , They work , They dont care on/about anything else but good music .
Myn is Cubase Sx 3 , Nuendo 3 .
